Built for a lasting in-ground display, this 18-foot flagpole kit includes a 4' x 6' Elizabeth Ross nylon American flag and a five-piece steel flagpole designed for sturdy residential or commercial use. The pole is constructed from 18-gauge steel with a 2" outer diameter and finished with a weather-resistant powder coating to help protect against corrosion, cracking, and peeling.

The kit includes the essential hardware needed to raise and secure the flag, including a threaded aluminum ball top, aluminum truck, aluminum cleat, braided halyard rope, nylon snap hooks, and a PVC ground sleeve for secure in-ground placement. Concrete and digging tools are not included and are required for proper installation.

The included flag is crafted from premium nylon and built with reinforced construction for long-lasting outdoor performance. It features 15% larger, extra-bright embroidered stars, a reinforced 2.5" heavy-duty header, brass grommets, and 8 stitches per inch, which is 15% more than the industry standard. The fly hem, the most wind-stressed part of the flag, is reinforced with a 4-needle configuration and added zigzag stitching on the second and third rows for superior durability.

To help extend the life of the flag, take it down when winds exceed 30 mph and avoid flying it during severe weather. If the flag becomes wet after heavy rain or snow, remove it and spread it out to dry fully before storing or flying again. For cleaning, spot clean with cold water and a mild detergent, then lay flat to dry to help maintain the flag’s shape. For a more thorough refresh, dry cleaning is also a suitable option.

To help maintain the flagpole and hardware, periodically wipe down the pole, cleat, truck, snap hooks, and halyard when dirty. Check the halyard, snap hooks, cleat, and ground sleeve regularly to make sure all components remain secure, especially after heavy weather or extended outdoor use. Do not fly the flag during sustained winds exceeding 30 mph, as strong winds may damage the flag, pole, hardware, or mounting area.
