The 18' Bronze Steel In-Ground Flagpole Kit is built for anyone ready to move beyond a porch-mounted flag to a permanent, freestanding display. It's the right choice for larger homes, business entrances, and HOA or community properties where a wall-mounted 6-foot pole doesn't offer enough height or presence. Instead of piecing together a pole, hardware, and flag separately, this complete kit gets you everything you need in one order.
The flagpole itself is a five-piece, 18-gauge steel pole with a 2" outer diameter, finished in a bronze powder coat that resists corrosion, cracking, and peeling outdoors. It's paired with a 4' x 6' American flag, sized to hold correct proportions at this height, made from durable all-weather nylon and certified by the Flag Manufacturers Association of America.
Everything needed to raise and secure the flag is included: a 3" threaded aluminum ball top, 2" aluminum truck, 6" aluminum cleat, braided halyard rope, two nylon snap hooks, and an 18" PVC ground sleeve. Please note that concrete and digging tools aren't included and will be needed for installation.
Made in the USA, the flagpole hardware is manufactured in Pennsylvania and the flag sewn in South Carolina from materials sourced in North Carolina.

Materials & Construction
Proudly Made In The USA
Why Choose an American-Made American Flag?
Not all American flags are created equal. Many imported flags use thinner materials, lower stitch counts, and printed stars that can fade quickly when exposed to the elements.
Elizabeth Ross American flags are proudly made in the USA and certified by the Flag Manufacturers Association of America (FMAA). All of our American flags deliver the quality and craftsmanship expected from one of the nation's most trusted flag manufacturers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who Should Choose a 3' x 5' American Flag?
The 3' x 5' American flag is an excellent choice for homeowners looking for a traditional residential display. It's best suited for 6-foot house-mounted flagpoles, front porches, patios, decks, indoor displays, and patriotic events.
Who Should Choose a 4' x 6' American Flag?
A 4' x 6' American flag is ideal for 18-foot in-ground flagpoles, larger residential properties, small businesses, churches, community buildings, and HOA entrances. Many homeowners and business owners choose this size when they want greater visibility than a standard 3' x 5' flag without stepping up to the larger footprint of a 5' x 8' flag.
Who Should Choose a 5' x 8' American Flag
The 5' x 8' American flag is a popular choice for 20-foot and taller flagpole installations where a traditional flag-to-pole ratio and increased visibility are important. This size provides the presence needed for large homes, businesses, and public spaces while maintaining the classic appearance expected of the American flag.
What's included in our pre-assembled American flag kit?
Our complete flag kits include a 6-foot aluminum or wooden flagpole, a mounting bracket with hardware, a decorative finial (ball top), and a premium 3' x 5' American flag. Everything you need to start flying in under 10 minutes.
How long will my American flag last outdoors?
With proper care, our premium nylon flags typically last 12–18 months of continuous outdoor display. Factors like wind exposure, UV intensity, and weather conditions affect longevity. We recommend bringing your flag in during severe storms.
Are all Elizabeth Ross flags made in the USA?
Yes — 100%. Every Elizabeth Ross flag is cut, sewn, embroidered, and inspected by American workers at our facilities in South Carolina and Pennsylvania. We employ over 400 American workers across our operations.
Can I fly this American flag at night?
According to the U.S. Flag Code, the American flag may be displayed 24 hours a day if properly illuminated during darkness. A simple solar-powered spotlight aimed at your flag is all you need.
What's the difference between nylon and polyester flags?
Nylon is lighter, dries faster, and flies in the lightest breeze — ideal for most residential use. Polyester is heavier and more durable in extreme wind but doesn't fly as gracefully. We use premium 200-denier nylon for the best combination of beauty and durability.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $75. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days from our South Carolina facility.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact us and we'll make it right — whether that's a replacement or a full refund.
